What I Learned in Class Today seeks focus group participants

Indigenous Initiatives is seeking focus group participants for the What I Learned in Class Today project. We are looking for students, alumni, faculty, teaching assistants, and staff who have engaged in or supported Indigenous-related discussions in classrooms and environments at UBC and who would like to share their experiences or reflections. All sessions will be held in room 2.22 in the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.

Thursday, Feb. 28
Noon – 1:30 p.m.
Undergraduate Focus Group
For undergraduate students enrolled at UBC Vancouver taking courses with Indigenous content
Tuesday, March 5
5 – 6:30 p.m.
Teaching Assistant/Graduate Focus Group
For current teaching assistants and graduate students at UBC Vancouver, where Indigenous content is part of the curriculum
Wednesday, March 13
9 – 10:30 a.m.
Staff Focus Group
For staff currently employed at UBC Vancouver teaching and/or supporting courses and students where Indigenous content is part of the curriculum.
Thursday, March 14
6 – 7:30 p.m.
Alumni Focus Group
For UBC alumni who have previously taken courses with Indigenous content
Tuesday, March 19
6 – 7:30 p.m.
