Having Difficult Conversations

Our work is grounded in moments of coming together where ideas, identities and perspectives are challenged in order to make space for new understandings and relationships. We acknowledge that this work is difficult, necessary, and takes time because through it we are creating visibility for issues, perspectives and knowledges that have largely been absent from education systems in Canada. Our approach supports hosting conversations rather than shutting them down or “managing them”, and requires humble approaches to both design, delivery, and care. We currently support educational resources and dialogue spaces where difficult conversations can take place and Indigenous perspectives can be centred within these spaces. To learn more:
